Irish dairy co-operative Ornua is pleased to announce the appointment of Cesar França to the position of Managing Director of Ornua’s Global Foods division. Cesar will take up his new role in September 2024 and will be based in Ornua’s global headquarters in Dublin.
In his role as Managing Director, and guardian of the much-loved Kerrygold brand, Cesar will be responsible for driving its continued success and ambitious growth plans and securing its position as a global leading food brand.
With over 25 years experience in the FMCG sector, working across dairy, beverages, cereals, confectionary and baby food categories, Cesar has deep expertise in leading and growing household brands. His brand experience portfolio includes Gerber, Milkmaid, NIDO, Maggi, Beba, Lactogen, Laboratories Guigoz, Nestum, Svelty and Nescau. Cesar has a notable track record in leading businesses across multiple geographies, managing P&Ls of significant scale, accelerating market expansion growth, building global brands with a strong focus on innovation, defining ESG strategies, and developing high-performing teams.
Prior to joining Ornua, Cesar held key senior strategic roles with Nestle in Switzerland, Mexico and Brazil. He was previously the President of Global Proprietary Brands with Covetrus Animal Health, as well as holding roles in Parmalat and Natura Cosmeticos.

Originally from Brazil, Cesar holds a business degree and an MBA from the IMD Business School in Switzerland. He speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
